For Crew
Why Is My Card Paused?
Dolly Card3 min read
The short answer
Dolly texts you the reason when your card is paused. Some pauses lift by themselves, like unreconciled charges once you catch up. Others need your admins, and you can text Dolly to ask them, except after a fraud report or when the production has wrapped.
Pause reasons
| Reason | How it turns back on | Ask by text? |
|---|---|---|
| Too many unreconciled charges | By itself, once enough charges are reconciled. Dolly tells you how many. | Yes |
| Paused by your admins | When your admins resume it. | Yes |
| End of the week | Your production pauses cards at 11:59 PM ET on Sunday. An admin resumes it. Some productions skip cards whose envelope for the week has been sent. | Yes |
| Department reached its limit | By itself, once the department is back under its limit. | Yes |
| Fraud report | Only an admin can resume it. | No |
| Production wrapped | Your admins reopen it if you are still shooting. | No |

Avoiding the end-of-week pause
If your production uses it, you get an email at noon on Sunday. Put last week’s charges in an envelope and send it for approval. See envelopes for crew.
