The short answer

Text Dolly at the number that texts you about your charges. You can ask how much you can still spend, send receipts, code and describe charges, ask why a card was declined, report fraud, and ask your admins to unpause your card, raise your limit or give you more to spend. Write the way you’d text a person.

Things you can ask

“How much can I still spend?” Your available balance and limit, card by card.
“What did I spend at Home Depot this week?” Charges by store, date or card, including refunds and declines.
“Why was I declined?” The reason for your last decline.
“What still needs a receipt?” Then go through each charge to code it, describe it and send the receipt.
“Send me a new Apple Pay link.” A fresh wallet link.
“That charge isn’t mine.” Reply Fraud to a charge text and Dolly pauses the card and tells your admins.

The cardholder asks how much they can still spend this week and Dolly replies with what is left of the weekly limit. — Ask how much you can still spend, in your own words.

Dolly texts a new charge and asks for a photo of the receipt. — Every charge gets a text. Reply with the receipt, or say it isn’t yours.

Asking your admins by text

Dolly confirms the details and asks if it should send the request. Your admins get it right away, and Dolly texts you when they answer. Requests expire after 24 hours.

A card paused for fraud, or closed because the production wrapped, can’t be unpaused by text.

The cardholder asks for 1000 more this week. Dolly confirms the amounts, sends it to the admins, then texts that it was approved. — Asking for more to spend. Dolly confirms first, then texts you the answer.

What Dolly can’t do by text

Change your limit, unpause a card or add money itself. Your admins decide.
Share card numbers, billing addresses or anyone’s contact details.
Save a missing-receipt reason. Do that on the web.
